No, it is a new photo.....just the other side of Saturday's. As Glo correctly alluded, on the reverse of the Fern's frond we have its sporangia. For Ferns are an ancient, sometimes called simple species of plant, there are no flowers here (they come from a time before bees). These strange structures, that look almost like the pupae of some parasite, hold the spores from which the next generation arise. Canon EOS-1D Mark III
