LDNP Oak....catch up

As Mary correctly guessed yesterday, it's time to return to the LDNP Oak. I've been keeping a close eye on it again recently after MJ wondered in the comments box a while back whether it had any signs of its colour changing yet. This was the tree on Thursday and you can see that it still has a full green cloak, though other oaks nearby have begun to change. It does always seem to be one of the later ones to change (and indeed to come into leaf in the spring). Previous LDNP photos here: 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Looking for the change in colour that signifies autumn brings me onto the vaguely interactive thing I mentioned yesterday. Last week Blue Witch was asking us all what signifies autumn and I'd like to pass on that question but add a photographic twist. So, what signifies autumn to you that I can go and out and take a photograph of? Leave your thoughts in the comments box and I'll see what I can find. There are already a few signs around here but I suspect we may have to wait a while for some more (including the LDNP Oak changing colour). Canon EOS 5D
