Finally we have some true Dragonflies other than the Broad Bodied Chasers, who have all gone now anyway. Still only a few but it was nice to come across this Common Darter and this shot serves well to show what I was saying about Dragonfly eyes touching one-another and being goggle-like and a very easy way to tell them apart from the Damselflies with their non-touching eyes. Two insects in a row....sorry. Canon EOS 40D
