Common Carp
Comments(3) # Common Carp london e17

I realised the other day that the only fish we've previously seen here at LDNP have been in the mouth of Mr. Great Crested Grebe so here, to remedy that situation are a couple of common carp (I think) I spotted at the reservoirs. This pair were a bit too big (over a foot long, thoughy Iknow that's not how one measures fish) for even Mr.Great Crested Grebe though perhaps just the right size to make a meal fore a hungry heron....or even several little Little Egrets. Tomorrow we'll return to the Bee Orchid (well, a different one actually) and my suggestion for an alternative name..... Canon EOS 40D
