Peacock on Bluebell
Comments(4) # Peacock on Bluebell london e12

The Bluebells in Wanstead Park were, I think, at their most beautiful on Saturday morning. After spending and hour or so trying to capture their beauty I wandered out from the woods where they most like to grow and came across this extremely battered looking Peacock Butterfly feasting on a Bluebell in the open glade. Each wing had several holes and tears, yet it could still fly perfectly (from my judgement). Amazing that this delicate little creature has survived all that the weather has thrown at us since last summer, but somehow it has. Canon EOS 40D
