Oak in Snow
Comments(17) # Oak in Snow london e11

I'm sure you've all been wondering how the old LDNP Oak has been doing and now you can see. It's being snowed upon. In April. In London. I always hoped I might get to take an "Oak in Snow" shot but I thought it would be in January or February or, if we were really lucky, in December. But no, yesterday morning as we woke (and as forecast) it was snowing. So, what else can a photographer do but rush out and grab a few shots before it stopped. It actually snowed almost continually for several hours and at the peak we had three of four inches of it in some spots though it soon started to melt and by the afternoon it was all gone. They are forecasting more for today however...... Earlier shots of the LDNP Oak from this angle can be seen here: 1, 2, 3, 4 , 5 and 6. Alternative points of view are here: A, B, C and D.
