Jenny Wren

A difficult proposition usually I find, the Wren. We have at least one as a regular visitor to the garden but as they tend to keep to the undergrowth and move very quickly, getting a decent shot is somewhat tricky. This one, however, was singing in a bush only a few feet from me whilst I was tracking the dishevelled heron at the reservoirs the other day. On the weather front, the snow that we had forecast for yesterday never really amounted to anything, well not photographically anyway. It did snow/sleet for a couple of hours but never really settled, a bit of a shame as I was hoping for a shot of the LDNP Oak with some snow....oh well, maybe we'll get some more snow in June. In the meantime it looks like just more of this gloomy grey. Canon EOS 40D
