Frozen Bulrushes
Comments(6) # Frozen Bulrushes london e17

So, as I mentioned the other day, we've had a few frosty mornings lately. It's hard to believe that we'll soon have frog spawn where we now have ice. This, by the way, is the pond I call St.Peter's Pond as it's just behind St.Peter's in the Forest Church (which isn't in the forest though may have been at one point, it's now just a small but very valuable bit of scrub). It was apparently once a children's boating lake but now is just my favourite haunt for local wildlife photography. Most of the dragonflies, butterflies, fungi and wild-flowers that we've seen here at LDNP were taken on or near this body of water. Canon EOS 5D
