Woody Nightshade (2)
Comments(3) # Woody Nightshade (2) london e17

Do you remember the pretty flowers of the Woody Nightshade? Well, as you can see they've now become these charming traffic light coloured berries. They'll all turn red when ripe, perhaps to warn us that though they're not quite as poisonous as those of their cousin, Deadly Nightshade, they're best avoided by us humans, particularly little ones. Birds, on the other hand will eat them and then, in good time, as nature takes its course, distribute the seeds far and wide over this grey little corner of East London. And it is very, very grey indeed at the moment. The background in this shot looks like a studio one but I can assure you that it's not, it's just very gloomy here at the moment. Canon EOS 5D
