The Stork Miller Moth
Comments(2) # The Stork Miller Moth london e10

Well, that's what I call it anyway. It's actually one of the Platyptiliinae but I'm not absolutely sure which one. So why do I call it the Stork Miller Moth? Well because it looks rather like a WW2 aircraft, in particular either the Fieseler Storch or the Norseman. The latter was, as I'm sure you're all aware, the type of aircraft that Glen Miller went missing in. So, there we are, the Stork Miller Moth. Everyone will be calling them that soon, just you wait and see. They're very small by the way, wingspan of only about half an inch. Canon EOS 5D
