Vapourer Moth Caterpillar
Comments(3) # Vapourer Moth Caterpillar london e17

I'm sure you're all going to be partaking in the Garden Moth Count this weekend, aren't you? This bizarre but pretty unique looking caterpillar is, of course, the larval form of the Vaporourer Moth (the female of which has no wings!). The adult is far harder to spot, let alone identify. As well as ID charts, the Garden Moth Count site also has some recipes (sponsored by Tate & Lyle?) for artificial nectars to attract the meurths into your garden. Give it a go...you know you want to!
